Is Resurrection only for the innocent?
for Lazarus, little girls, and Christ?
No, we are promised ourselves Resurrection
of the body, our bodies, however imperfect
and our own souls, however imperfect
transformed by faith into Love
this is the greatest forgiveness.
Might we all be
no longer desiring or capable of harming others?
Might we all be
no longer afraid?
if all creation is redeemed,
then all lives can be,
have been,
will be redeemed?
Forgiveness does not obliterate justice but revenge.

Where does the line between religion and politics stop and start with you? Jesus was not concerned with earthly politics of his day since his kingdom was not of this world. What good does serving time in prison on other peoples lies do for you or your future flock? I had written you a very cordial e-mail before you went to be arrested for nothing, and of course you could not defend yourself since you have no personal experience with the SOA. I have recently read in the Rock River Times you called it "hate mail." It is not "hate mail" if you cannot defend your actions, but I guess you can consider it that since your argument is credulous to begin with. If you cannot debate with people that do not agree with your opinions, you must only want sheep around you. I guess that is why you want to be a pastor so bad. I don't believe your ideas should be taken serious since you cannot even defend them. I am sure I will not get a retort here either. I hope it was worth it. -Steve
What 'Steve' has missed is that I do have quite personal experience with the SOA, including making a personal visit at the SOA's invitation to their facility and listened to their presentation. (Incidentally the SOA's stated self-rationale is that they must exist for the sake of the War on Drugs). I also know personally some of the many victims of SOA graduates' human rights abuses. (Even the SOA admits it has 600 graduates convicted of human rights abuses).
Incidentally, Steve has some odd ideas about what constitutes 'cordial' communication.
Everything one does is a "personal experience" but, I do not think going to a presentation and "knowing" people is qualified as "experience" with the SOA (which is closed). I guess that trumps my 4+ years of working with and training for the SOA. By the way, I like how you totally bypassed the whole theological aspect of the question (the one part where you are supposed to be an "expert"). I guess since I am not a sycophant, I am not 'cordial.' Have you done any actual research yourself, or do you rely on internet sites? Here is an article that might enlighten you. http://www.rockrivertimes.com/index.new.pl?cmd=viewstory&cat=4&id=20094
What is wrong with keeping drugs out of the U.S.? That was the main reason why I was in Colombia for so long. Do you think the FARC is participating in Geneva Convention classes? I have 'seen' the atrocities of the FARC. Decapitation, rape, murder, etc. Why don't you play your tiny violin for the victims of the FARC? Is it because you agree with their leftist ideology? Does that make it O.K.? Or, how about your friends in Iran? Is it O.K. for them to hang homosexuals, stone little girls to death and keep women down because it is their "culture"? I hope one day will get tired of being an apologist for theocracies and communist thugs. Please, get off the cross and put Jesus back up there where he belongs.
I also like your communist style of censorship. My comments must be "approved" before the see the eyes of your readers. If you were truly a free-thinker, you would enable free speech. You must be learning from the best. I hope you see fit to publish my comments.
